I recently had the opportunity to interview for a position as a software engineer at PayPal. Overall, I thought the interview process was fair and gave me a good chance to show my skills. The first part of the interview was an on-site coding test where I had to solve some problems in Java.

I felt that I did well on this portion of the interview and it showed my proficiency in the language. The second part of the interview consisted of an oral exam where I was asked questions about myself and my experience working with code. Again, I felt that I answered these questions well and demonstrated my knowledge of the subject matter.
